WHAT IS AN ESCAPE ROOM?
An escape room is a live entertainment experience in which a small group of people are locked in a themed room and must find clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes to escape in the time allotted.

WHO IS IT FOR?
Our escape rooms are popular for casual get-togethers with friends & family, gamers, date night, tourists, special events, birthday parties, team building, and just for a reason to escape the house.

ARE WE REALLY GOING TO BE LOCKED IN A ROOM?
Yes and no. As part of the game, you will be metaphorically locked in a room, but for safety reasons the door is accessible all throughout the game if you need to leave.​​ 

WILL THERE BE PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW IN THE ROOM?
Yes and No, the room is open to anyone to book and to enjoy the experience with other players. Strangers upon entry will not feel that way once the game begins. Players also have the option of reserving the room privately for $149.99

HOW IS THE GAME PLAYED?
You and your team work together to find clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes in an effort to unlock the door and escape in the time allotted. If you have not found the key and escaped the room in the time allotted, you will be given the option to leave or be helped through to the finish.  Players that are close will be allowed to finish.

Our escape rooms are $24.95 per person.
 

HOW DO I PURCHASE A GIFT CERTIFICATE?
Gift cards are available for purchase online. They are perfect for birthdays, special occasions, thank-you gifts, a family get-together, co-workers, holidays and stocking stuffers! CLICK HERE. Select the voucher amount that you would like to purchase , and choose generic gift voucher so that the recipient can choose which room they would like to do at the time of redemption. After payment, you'll receive a voucher that you can print out and include in your own card, and/or you can email the voucher to them. The person receiving the gift (the customer) visits our web site to redeem the gift voucher and make a booking. If the price of the item is less than the value of the gift card, the customer can use the credit left for other bookings in the future. The gift card is valid for one year from the purchase date.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY GAME?
We ask that you please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled booking time in order to fill-out paperwork and listen to our tips and safety speech. 

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY?
Any number ranging from 2 - 8 people depending on the room. Keep in mind the smaller the group the harder the room will be to solve. For larger parties, please contact us.
 

HOW DO I MAKE A ROOM PRIVATE?
If you would like to guarantee the room for just your group, please book the entire room at BOOKING for $149.99. 

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT? 
Our Escape Rooms are enjoyed by all ages from children to grandparents. The games do not involve heavy lifting or physical exertion. This is a mental exercise adventure! Ages 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.  Tickets must be purchased for all players in the room. Children 12 and under are not allowed to wait unsupervised in our lobby. Participants 18 years and younger must have a waiver signed by their parent. Download waiver here.

CAN I BOOK FOR A GROUP OF CHILDREN? 
Escape House is a fantastic activity for groups of younger players! We customize the CLUES GIVEN for them so that they have a better chance of escaping!  It is recommended one adult  be in the room. ​ For more information, please contact us. Participants 18 years and younger must have a waiver signed by their parent or guardian that accompanies them.
 

HOW DO I BOOK A TEAM BUILDING EXPERIENCE?
The interactive challenge that Escape House poses is a perfect team building exercise which brings people together as they share in their accomplishment. Escape House foster collaboration, communication, and team work as these skills are vital to escaping the room.  Private and Corporate sessions are not available to purchase via the website, rather, to reserve please email us with preferred date and time at EscapeHouseSH@gmail.com.​ We respond to all email inquires same day, so please be sure to include your phone as a second form of contact. Availability changes daily so we encourage groups to reserve and book quickly. We look forward to creating an event that meets your needs!

Yes. Our staff will provide a few clues along the way at your request.

IS MY TICKET REFUNDABLE?
A 25% cancellation fee will be applied to bookings cancelled less that 24 hours in advance.

CAN WE PARTICIPATE WITHOUT A RESERVATION?
No. We currently do not have walk-in reservations available. You will need to make a reservation online in advance.
